Clinicians Telemed is a multi-specialty telemedicine group created in 2005 because of the need to provide expanded access to medical specialty care. Clinicians Telemed is comprised of physicians and healthcare professionals who can assist healthcare organizations expand access to medical specialty care and achieve the kinds of operational efficiencies that often prove elusive.

By utilizing video conferencing technology, patients can be treated by a wide range of highly qualified physician specialists. In 2010, Clinicians Telemed provided approximately 6,000 telemedicine appointments to thirty-three sites in California. From the Northern California Coast to the High Sierras to the Imperial Valley, medical specialty visits are conducted by physicians of Clinicians Telemed.
